Product Description

Ceramic fiber bulk is manufactured from high purity alumina-silica powder and silica sand through Special production process of spinning or blowing . Bulk fibers are available in a variety of chemistries and diameters which can service a wide variety of applications. In addition, these fibers can be further modified by chopping or by removal of the unfiberized particles (called shot). Lubricants can also be added to the fiber to enhance fiber properties.

Typical Applications

Raw material: other ceramic fiber based product forms such as: • High-temperature boards, felts, and papers 

General insulation: as infill for the roofs and walls of certain types of furnaces and kilns.

Packing: expansion joints, patching and emergency repairs in furnaces, boilers, heaters, etc.

Sealing: around penetrations in furnace, heaters and boiler walls, e.g. tubes, burners and sight holes.
